Default Ninja CU on MSI P6N SLI V2

Hey Guys,

i have this beautiful Ninja CU cpu cooler...

and my board dont support the 3 Pin CPU thing as well...
so i decided to use the sysfan1 connector on my motherboard.

I tryed to manipulate the fan with speedfan 4.35 but it doesnt work. but i think 800RPM is the minimum i should use while gaming.

the other thing is. I have a new Case with a hole in the top. so i wanted to know if it is possible to put the fan on the top of the CPU Cooler? i tryed but the Fan wasn't able to move.

is there a trick? or is there any other fan who supports this? (maybe a fan with 4 pins, silent but powerfull)

would be nice if you could help me..... and sorry for my horrible english.

Hello atik,

please try to change your fan-regulation-method to "voltage regulated" so that your mainboard is not using PWM anymore.

Kind regards,

Hi atik,

yes, this has to be done in the mainboard's BIOS.

Cheers,
Stefan

Hiho,

putting fan on top wouldn't make any sense. If you would like to have a stronger fan, use our S-Flex-series.

Kind regards,
Stefan

maybe it makes no sense in the technical way, but it makes sense because than you dont have an "ugly" black fan in the middle of your case... if i would put in on top the fan would not be such an eyecatcher.

So wait, what exactly do you mean with "on top"?

I think he means top as the direction to top of the case:

And he doesn't want to have any fan on the other side (facing PCI slots). Though IMHO that would be the best solution to have one fan blowing cold air upwards and a fan on the case to suck it out.

Ah okay, then it's no problem of course.

Cheers,
