Mini Ninja Rev B for 1155?

Hi,

I have a mini ninja rev B. here:

Ninja Mini Rev B: CPU Kühler, Lüfter, Lüftersteuerung, PC Netzteile von Scythe

Says it is 1155 compatable but the box & Manual make no reference to this.

The Manual is not downloadable from the above page????

Is it 1155 compatable & if so How?

Ninja2 Rev.B compatible with S.1155, with push pins bracket.

So ur saying the pushpin bracket supplied works with 1156 even tho 1156 did not exist when I brought the cooler??? R u sure?

However it says not for scnj-1100 (my rev B is scmnj-1100) but for scnj-1000 which is the first version(?) which according to my reading there is no way to get it to work with 1155.

LGA1366/1155 conversation clip compatible with SCMNJ-1100.

As Sansay said, if you really own Rev B of Mini Ninja then Socket 1156 (= 1155) compatibility was included in your package!


This is what the Scythe homepage says about the Rev B:

"Revision B adds to that by updating socket compatibility, so now you're able to mount the Scythe Ninja Mini on Intel sockets LGA1156 and LGA1336 as well."

Box say REV B, box say scmnj-1100, box say 1366, box say nothing about 1155/6.

So 1366 and 1156/1155 coolers are interchangerable?

My nija is in use & I cannot remove it to look at the fitting mech as pc prob would not survive experience. I hacve no experience of 1366.

Basically the width between the holes of the pushpins differs - with socket 775 the holes are close to each other while with 1366 they are in the widest position.

And as the width of hole distance of 1155/1156 lies in the middle between the 775 and 1366 distance you can use the bracket for these sockets, too. That's it!
