Thumbs up Info: Xigmatek Asgard I / Ninja 3 / Slipstream 140mm

Hello folks,

just to inform you:

Ninja 3 fits Asgard 1. Unfortunately it is not possible to mount the 140mm Slipstream on Ninja 3 if there is at least one RAM module underneath the fan. I'd say that Slipstream is 5-7mm too high when mounted on Ninja to close the side panel.

If there was no RAM installed underneath the fan it would probably be possible to push the fan down towards to board to that it could fit.

Anyway i'll try the same with Scythe Gekkou. Asgard is listed with 185mm width and Gekkou with 196mm. So this will possibly add the necessary room to mount the 140mm Slipstream as CPU fan.

I'll report back as soon as Intel has released the i3 Sandy Bridge CPUs (i3-2100T) and the new revision of Sandy boards is available.

Cheers Oli
