I went with a different motherboard after all, but it's pretty similar. Instead of the Asus P5B-MX, I went with the Asus P5KPL-VM, which is also a microATX board.

The Anniversary Ninja fits it perfectly. In the pictures, it looks like the mounting bracket is touching the capacitors, but there's actually plenty of space left between the cooler and bracket and all the electrical components. All in all, it fits perfectly on this microATX board.

Here's two pics:

Thanks for the advice, Shinigami!

Question MSI K9A2 Platinum Compatability

I am considering purchase of a MSI K9A2 Platinum AM2 motherboard, and I was wondering if anyone knew if the Scythe Ninja Cu is compatable as I have "heard" that the Ninja 2 is not as it covers two RAM slots and the first PCI-e x16 slot; which is unacceptable for me as I have 4 sticks of DDR2 1066RAM to fit into it, and two 4850s. I would love to use the Ninja Cu, but I'm not sure if it's compatable.

Hello jeremy,

actually the Ram-slots are way to close near to the CPU-socket on that mainboard which is really bad. As far as I could see it from pictures, there could be one or two RAM-slots blocked.

Cheers,
Stefan

Thumbs up Thanks

Wow! Thanks for the quick reply, might have to rethink the motherboard then... since I like that Scythe Ninja Cu so much. We'll see what I can put together.
