Default Ninja 3, Shuriken Rev B. or Samurai ZZ in Mini ITX case?

Hello,

Currently I have the Intel stock cooler running and it's too noisy.
I saw a few cooler which might fit in my case but I can't decide which one would be the best for my setup.

My specs:

Processor:i5 750 @ 3,0Ghz 1.04v / 3,6Ghz 1.13v
Motherboard:
Gigabyte GA-H55N-USB3
Cooling:
Intel stock
Memory:4GB OCZ Platinum XTC Low Voltage 1600MHz C7 @ 2000MHZ C8 1.70v
Video Card:
nVidia 7650GS with passive cooling
Hard Disk:
Intel Postville 80GB SSD / Western Digital Green 500GB
Case:
Lian Li PC-Q08B
PSU:
Nexus NX-5000 R3 530W

The top fan (120mm) in my case is running @ 5v and the front (140mm) is running @ 7v. So airflow is quite good for a Mini ITX case.

Which CPU cooler, the Ninja 3, Shuriken Rev B. or Samurai ZZ, would peform the best in my case?

Hello,
well,I can't tell you if the Ninja 3 will fit in the case, but:
Ninja 3 has far the best performance of the 3 cooler and would be enough to cool the CPU.
The problem is the 3.6 GHz with the other 2 cooler. I don't think they are capable to cool this CPU with this overclocking. I got a Yasya in my PC with the same CPU(3.6GHz) and in load(100%) it reaches temps up to 65-68°C so the Shuriken and the Samurai are not enough to cool it in my opinion.

With standard ATX PSU installed the cooler clearance in this case is only 100 mm (height) as far as I read. This would mean that only Big Shuriken would be applicable w/o getting into real trouble when trying to mount the cooler. So this combination won't work out at all I'm afraid.

Trust me it'll fit I'm going to mod the PSU so there's room for bigger cpu coolers. so best option would be katana 3?

Why katana 3? You've talked about Ninja 3, I'm a bit confused now...
The Katana 3 is nearly the same like the Samurai ZZ so I think it is still not enough to cool an overclocked I5 750@3.6 GHz. If you meant Ninja 3, then ignore this post and use the Ninja 3.
