120 mm fan clip for mini ninja ?

Hi all,

Sorry for my bad english. I want to put a 120 mm fan on my new ninja mini. As it's said on the notice. They said that you can put a clip for 120 mm fans wich is optionnal.

My question is: Is the SCY-12FC compatible with the ninja mini ?

Hi,

Yes it is compatible, but we did not add it, because it does not make a lot of sense to put a 12cm fan, because it is bigger than the Ninja Mini. But it will work if you want to use it.

I recommend to not put the fan on it and instead put some 120cm fan for cold air to pull some air to the Ninja Mini.

Ok for your answer.
So for you,it's better to put a 12 cm fan not on the ninja but on my case (desktop).

So this isn't simple as I think. I will try with a 92 mm on the ninja mini and another solution a 12 cm on my desktop and I will see the result.

A strange desire, actually. If a 120mm fan itself fits between the mobo and the case's side \ top cover, you can most likely box up a "big" Ninja in there as well - why use Mini? And in reverse, if a "big" Ninja doesn't fit, a 120mm fan placed on a Mini won't let you close the side cover.

well if the 12cm fans are more silent and more useful after all. If you have issues in height with Ninja PLUS, Ninja Mini would do it, but with an optimized airflow, you do not necessarily need a fan on the Ninja.
