Hi
Probably the answer is YES, but I'm going to ask anyway just to be sure. ![]() Does the Ninja PLUS Rev.B fit into the AC Silentium T2 ECO 80 case? And is this cooler compatible with Intel Desktop Board DX38BT? I'm going to buy a new PC and surfing the web for the quietest cooler and found many good reviews about your products. Also I would like to know what's the main difference between Ninja PLUS Rev.B and Andy Samurai Master? If you guys have other suggestions what Scythe cooler to use to cool my (going to be) Core 2 Quad Q6600 you're very welcome. As I said before I'm not looking for the best cooling, but I'm looking for ultimate silence! ![]() Best regards |

Hi and wellcome.
AC Silentium T2 ECO 80 has 230mm width, and Ninja PLUS would need 150mm, if you add up everything, it should be OK to mount the Ninja PLUS inside that case. Yet I can never give any real advise on Cases, this is simply too complicated and too specific which makes it way to difficult to test. We do not stock any cases as you can assume. Intel® Desktop Board DX38BT seems to be "OK" as well. I can't see any issues with this Mobo. There are not many pictures on the net yet. The main difference is: Ninja Plus is best with low RPM, and is a Tower Cooler Andy Samurai Master needs the fan speed to be not too low for good performance and is a non-tower cooler which cools Mainboard Components as well. The Ultiamte Silence is only possible with Ninaj PLUS. Here is a relative article to what is possible: Single Fan Guide Greets, Andy

^bump but worthy addition... the AC Silentium T2 ECO 80 comes with 550W ATX PSU but this PSU has only 24-pin ATX and 4-pin EATX 12V connector, many current motherboards (X38 included) require 8-pin and won't power on with anything less.
an Intel 975X Bad Axe motherboard refused to boot up correctly because it did not have 8-pin connector; since the case comes with custom build in PSU, your options are limited for a PSU swap. |
