Hi
I hope u can help me out..... do u think there might be a chance that i can run the ninja plus pasive with the intel Q6600 in a antec p182 case. the cpu are going to be in the top left coner, and 2 scytche Scythe S-FLEX SFF21D coolers are going to run in the top left coner...... one on the top and one on the backside of the case i know that ppl have tried and used intel duo cores2 of any speed like this with no problems of heat on the cores in the cpu.... but the q6600 is rated 105W so I am very curius... also a bit scared of the pushpins... alot of ppl says there is tropple... is they so stable I can transport the computer around without tropple???? I live in denmark (EU), and cannot find any place there selling the universiel mounting kid u are selling.... so what with prices on this and so on.... thx if u are going to help me out.. need a very fast answer.... going to deside for ninja plus or some other coolers today |

Give it a try, you can always attach a fan if the temps seem to be too high. There's no way you can fry a CPU, if there's a Ninja on it. P.S.-1: I don't know any other low-flow optimized heatsinks, Ninja is unique. P.S.-2: S-Flex's are not very good as case fans, I'd go for Kaze Whites instead. |

Hi there!
my recommendation: if you will not use your quad for bench tests or similar, you can try to use in passive mode. if you intend to use it for gaming or audio-video editing or any other programs that tend to keep you CPU -> 100% i strongly recommend that you provide a good airflow to your case and HS. in either cases pls use speedfan or coretemp to monitor your temperatures. you might find this Retention Kit & Ninja on Asus P5K Deluxe? usefull. |

Hi,
if you have decent airflow inside the case, there is nothing better than Ninja when it comes to cool w/o an directly attached fan. The new Q6600 G0 should be fine with Ninja Plus. But please make sure to test and watch your system temps! Stress it a bit and maybe use Retention Kit, like himself recommended. Greetings, Andy
