Default Is the copper spacer required for 4870
Hello,
I saw that there is a copper spacer included along with musashi. I would like to know if the copper spacer is required for installing the mushashi on a reference design 4870. If needed should i apply thermal paste on both ends?

Hello imoschak,

the copper spacer is normally used for the R600 chip. For 4870, the spacer is not needed.
