Default temperature too hot???

I need to know if my temperature are correct for my scythe musashi on my ATI4870 POWERCOLORS PCS 512Mb!

It' on idle!!!!!

Hello kysersose,

Wellcome to Scythe support forum.

First of all, your temps not that critical you think. But let me ask you something: on what RPM Settings you run the Musashi? ; did you install the Ramcoolers? because its look a bit mysterios: the GPU Temp is ok, also the VRM Temp and the Shader Temp. The MemIO Temp is high, but not that high if you use the standardcooler.

Can you please check your load Temps?

Hello,

I didn't install ramcoolers i keep the original from powercolors! I use scythe musashi on my ATI 4870 but not on high speed fan!!! fan on middle!

Hello,

If you really use the original small/flat ram cooler from Powercolor, than there is no doubt that this is the reason for these bad temps. Because the Powercolor solution only have a small surface for the heat transfer. You should use the coolers, which come with the Musashi cooler, to improve the Temps.

IT's me again the temperature is uppingg!! I'm so afraid!!
All temp are upping and they are very bas it was better with original coolers!!!

Salut !
Personnellement, je ne vois pas de mauvaises températures. J'ai une HD4870 de chez Sapphire, et je peux t'assurer que les températures sont bien au-delà, avec le ventirad stock.
Les rads sont bien placés ?

/edit -> concernant les VRM, j'avoue que je n'ai aucune remontée sous Everest (4.60.1500)

Salut Vanseb tu as su que j'étais français avec mon anglais pourrit!! lol

Ben en faite avant changement regarde les températures était bien meilleur et quand j'ai changé les RAD c'est pire j'aurais pas du touché je pense!! Mais il parait qu'il faut mettre de la pate thermique sur les VRM !! j'en ai pas mis demain je vais mettre de la artic silver 5 sur chaque RAD!

Y' aussi la tempérautre de mon processeur qui a grave augmenté je suis 40° et ce qui me fait peur c'est que je suis en idle!!
