4870/4890 less wobble mod!

Prerrty crap that I buy a £40 cooler and it doesn't even fit right. None the less, here is my little mod to get it fitting right:

Well, modded it in the end and there is a lot less wobble:





Last time I fitted I guess it was tight enough as it left a mark on the actual heatsink.

Hi,

you dont have to worry about the the coolder "wobble", because thats only on the horizontal side. So you cannot damage your card with this.
But this "problem" bases on the different cards wie support. So some cards have realy tight wholes and some have bigger ones. But i like your mod. Its easy and efficient. so maybe we can do something against this with later models.

Yes, but still, it's somewhat disconcerting seeing it wobble. I know it would increase costs and that's something not wanted at the moment, but you could include some slightly thicker screws or at least recommend a way on your website to reduce the wobble.

as i said, we know this issue, and your feedback will help us do it better. So maybe we can improve this in one of the next coolers
