Hello antonka,

please use Orthos or Prime to stress your CPU. You have to see the temperatures under 100% load, only by this we can be able to say if there is something wrong with your Mugen. Actually, all temperatures seem a bit high to me. Do you have an adequate airflow inside of your PC?

Cheers,
Stefan

Hi,

Again I could only do it in the evening. Regarding the airflow I got 4 fans installed in addition to Mugen and PSU fans.

3 fans in front right blowing inside. 1 big fan in tha back blowing outside together with PSU. I am not sure about directrion of Mugen Fan.

I installed it according to the scheme in the manual. Wires are on the heatsink side. Is that correct? Somehow I can not attach any pic anymore on this forum....

Is that not enough? I think temp of graphic card is also too high. about 70! What would you say? MAybe something wrong with the installation of Mugen? I put only little thermal paste that is left from the package but that was still enough to cover both surfaces. Pressure is also good now thanks to copper spacer. WHat could be wrong?

I don't think, there is something wrong with your mugen.

Please check how the temperatures behave under load.

But is not it strange that CPU temperature shows 25 and cores are about 40?? I think it is not normal. What is your opinion?

Hello antonka,

actually, this is normal. The core-temps are alway higher than the CPU-temperature.

Cheers,
Stefan

hi,

So i checked temps with orthos and here is the result: what do you think??
Oh I cant add any pics more. I have sent you email.
Another question: Should Mugen Heatsink be warm after 5 minutes running under 100 laod? When I touched it I did not feel any special heat. Just slightly warm. But Heat radioator build on Motherboard was really hot!

Hello antonka,

thanks a lot for your pictures, but 1min30 Orthos is not enough for stressing a CPU. Please let it run for ~1 hour and send me your results.

Cheers,
Stefan

Default Temps

Hi,

Yesterday I noticed temperatures increase at my CPU. I was stressing it with OCCT and i got 50 degrees on main and up to 70°C at cores! Is that normal given outside temperatures ar about 30°C??

Room temperatures can extremely influence cooling.

Example:
At 3.0 Ghz and 21/22 Celsius ambient temp my E6700 runs with max core temp (full load) of 58, but with ambient temp of 28 the core temp increases to 65 degrees.

While in Idle the core temps normally increase exactly as much as the ambient temp (ambient goes up 10, cores go up 10 or less) I experienced that under Load the core temps raise even higher than the ambient temp has increased (ambient goes up 6, cores go up 8 or more).

Bye Oli

Default Water cooling

Hello,

I was wondering is that possible to install water cooling together with Mugeb on P5E3 Deluxe? I think I have not enough cooling.. Temps are over 70 at full load cores 1 - 4
