Default mugen on msi fr neo2

hello all
first post here
i just install my mugen on my msi fr neo2

the cooler will fit only with long edge parallel with memory slot
in other position the grip will touch the black R25 from top right corner.
i have a question for all you scythe`s guru:
i buy the cooler from a friend that use to reseat the cooler from time to time
how many install/reinstalls will pins be good for?
can i check for used parts that will fail?
what will be the signs, except my mugen fall over my video card?
do you advise to replace the pins?

thanks all
stefan

Hi buzatu,

nice to see that here is some other guy named Stefan in this Board

The easiest thing to see, if the pushpins wears out is having a look at them and checking, if they were still able to mount the cooler properly.

If you do not trust the pins on your CPU-cooler, please write me a short personal message with your address, we will send a set of new pushpins for free.

Cheers,
Stefan

thank for the offer
i will send the pm

do you advice to remove the cooler until i replace the pushpins or is enough to use my case in horizontal position so no pressure on pins?

today i was a little bit free and test the mugen
q6600 at 3000 MHz idle at 35C
on load (all 4 core running 100%) after 30minutes 55C
ambient 22C
i use a 12cm fan with 61cfm - stock fan was missing from the package i bought
small case with almost decent airflow - i choose the silence
with stock cooler i hit 70C on load
so im happy

regards,
stefan
