Default Mugen and the GA-MA790X-DS4

Hello everybody,

First my apologize for my bad english, but i'm a young guy from The Netherlands and i'm not that good in English.

I want to upgrade my cpu cooler this summer from the AMD boxed cooler to the Mugen.
At the summer i have already upgraded my motherboard to the Gigabyte Ga-Ma-790FX DS4 only my question is: Is it possible to install the cooler and the other question is it quick to install it or makes the motherboard it very difficult.

Amazon.com: Gigabyte GA-MA790X-DS4 AMD 790X D-DDR2 D-PCI-E SATA 3Gb s Raid IEEE1394 Audio Motherboard: Electronics

Thanks

Hi lennoow,

First of all welcome and don't say your English is bad, I understood everything, so no problem at all

As for the compatibility, it should work if you mount the clip first on the side where the chipset cooler is, and then on the other side. We have the VTMS clips, so mounting the cooler would take maybe 5 minutes. Depending on your PC Case, you should be able to mount it w/o taking the Mainboard out.
