I am looking for a new cooler for my AMD Opteron 165. Unfortunately I have an old MSI K8N Neo2 motherboard. This motherboard IS on the motherboard compatibility list. However, I must ask, does anyone have experience with this cooler and board combination? Will the Infiniy block my AGP slot?

Any help is appreciated.

Hi,

Mugen should be compatible. If you have a normal VGA card with no heatsink on the back side, it should be ok. You can also measure the distance from socket to the AGP if you like and compare the dimensions.

I am looking for a new cooler for my AMD 2xOpteron 242. I have a MSI K8T Master 2 Far dual CPU motherboard.
(MSI -- MICRO-STAR INT'L CO., LTD.)

I would like to know if it is there a compatible cooler for this motherboard?

Hello nevetlen,

please have a look at this list:
Scythe EU GmbH : AMD 754/939/940
All these coolers are compatibel with Socket 940.
