Exclamation Q6600 + Sythe Mugen 1000 High Temps 80C++

Hello guys ;-),

at the beginning of this year a computer company (a little one in my city) created me a new PC with new and old things. I used my old Q6600 and a new Sythe Mugen 1000. He built me all hardware everything were fine ;-).

But now i want to overclock my CPU but last week i saw that i had high temps like 70C or sometime 80C. I'll upload some pictures tomorrow...

So i'm a bit scared, i could go to them and ask them if they help me but i thought it would be a little problem. Also i upload a picture from my computer insides (tomorror, too). If i know which problem is it my friend can help me because he is very interested in computer and hardware things.

Best regards,

flowmow

Take a look at those pesky push-pins. It looks like one or two are loose.

Hello Flowmow,

I think the lineup is a bit "difficult" because the Mugen fan is blowing into the PSU using warm air from the GPU while the Casefan is blowing to the outside. Better would be to rotate Mugen by 90° and mount the fan on the heatsink that it is blowing through the Mugen to the case back.

Cheers,
Stefan
