Aww that's a shame... I was hoping there was some minor amounts of material that could have been shaved off.

Thank you for the information though!

Hi, guys
At this week I finally recieved a box with Mugen 2. I want to say that is fully compatible with my MSI X58 Platinum. If you have a normal hight memory you will never experience any problems with mounting that cooler. I will send photos later.

Default Intel DQ45CB?

Hello,

Do you think the Scythe Mugen 2 will fit on an Intel DQ45CB motherboard, without blocking any DIMM slots etc?

Thanks in advance.

What's beautiful about the Mugen 2 compared to the Mugen 1 is that you can now more confidently experiment with all 4 fans pushing air in, as it would now exit the slits on the top of the Mugen 2 whereas the Mugen 1 had no such slits on the top (or elsewhere?).

Overclock.net - Overclocking.net

The above link shows 3 degree centigrade improvement with a push-push setup vs push-pull, contrary to everyone giving antiquated advice!!!! So onward to 4 push fans, anyone want to show test results??? Please????

It shows the genius in the Mugen 2 design, imho.

to see that push-push is better for the Mugen fan dual setup.
