Installing Problem

Hi,

I'm trying this cooler installed for a couple of hours but it just wo'nt, I have an asus p5q. The pushpins work when I don't try to install the cooler. I can push 3 pins in the mobo but the 4th just won't click, it doesn't matter which side I try. With a lot of force I can get the black pin further then the other ones but it just won't click. I think the force on the 4th pin is to big.

Do you have some tips or do I something wrong, already spend several hours on installing the cooler and possibly destroyed my mobo with the force I have to use, thx in advance

are you sure that the head of the Pin is in the right position?

this Pressure is normal and specificated by Intel. The last Pin is almost the hardest one.

do you try to install the cooler inside or outside from your case?

Outside the case and I understand how the pushpins work so the pin is in the right direction. The pressure is just insane, almost tried everything and different people tried it, it always shoots back out .
