Scythe retention kit on Asus P5E and on Asus P5K-SE/EPU

Hello there!

Next weak I get my new parts for 2 computers,
It's about a Asus P5E and a Asus P5K-SE/EPU, Both with the scythe mugen/******** and both will be mounted with the retention kit because people told me you get better temps and it is better mounted with the kit.
But now I don't know how to mount the cooler with the retention kit...
I can't find a manual on the internet so I ask it here!
The pushpins is easy.. Just push and click ^^
But the retention kit comes with a backplate, and a whole bunch of screwes and some other stuff... Do I need everything that is in the box to mount my cooler? Or just some parts... And also I've read some things about a copper spacer... What is this and what does it do? Because some people need it and other people don't use it...
Some photos that show me how to use the retention kit would be SUPER COOL!!

Surely, because you need the Socket 478 clips for mounting the cooler on the retention kit.

If collision with MB components: plastic washers and copper spacer necessary. If no collision with capacitors: washers and spacer not necessary. You'll have to find out on your own for your setup.

Right now I have the mugen on my P5E with pushpins and it fits...
So I won't need the copper plate?
And I thought the washers were there to protect the mobo? All they do is lift the whole thing up a bit?
And can I use the washers but not the plate?
Or when you use the washers you have to use the copper plate?

Pushpins never need the spacer. Reason for usage of spacer would be if the rails of the retention kit collide with MB components around the CPU socket.

For isolation purposes you can use thin washers made of paper or cardboard.

If you use the thick transparent plastic washers from the kit but NOT the spacer your Mugen will be sitting much too high - pressure and contact won't be sufficient for good cooling. So please use thick washers and spacer or none of both.

So this is what it has to become? (without the mobo and cooler).
I don't have to use any screws to attach to mugen to the kit?
I only need 4 screws to attach the backplate to the brackets.
It looks like the cooler will still move if it's attached like this or am I wrong?

Surely you can easily move the bracket if there's no pressure of the cooler's socket on the CPU. It'll become much harder as soon as you really mount the Mugen. There's a tolerance even with pressure but you can ignore that. Even with screws everywhere you'll find out that the cooler can be moved for some millimeters of tolerance. But this mounting method is very good, pressure is high and the connection between bracket and rails is very reliable.

Rest is correct as you said. Only screws to install rails and backplate.
