Mugen 2 rev b and Asus P5K installation problem

Hi,

I'm having trouble installing Mugen 2 rev b on this particular motherboard. to be more specific there seems to be a problem with the Asus Stack 2 since the bolts will only fit up to the middle. As a result the bold won't get screwed on mugen. Is there something particular I should do?

Hello Failme,

the Mugen 2 Rev.B should be fits on your mainboard. (see here: Asus P5K Deluxe)
The Stack Cool feature is a additional layer at the mainboard PCB and shouldn't be problems.
The screws are long enough. Did you correct installed the metal assembly clips for the sockel 775? The angled side of the clips must show to the mainboard.

This backplate at the pictures you don't need ! I mean, it's to mount for another cooler. Can you remove the backplate carefully ?
