Mugen 2 Rev. B and GigaByte MA770T-UD3P: Backplate doesn't fit

As the title says, the backplate doesn't fit my GiBy MA770T-UD3P.
Is there a backplate that does fit this board? Or is the Mugen not for me?
I think the screws on the side arent necessary for AM3, so maybe i could saw the edges off?

I bought a Mugens 2 for a 1366 mobo and have the same problem. It seems that my Mugens 2 Rev B has been supplied with a different backplate than those I have seen reviewed on the net, though it still claims compatibility.

Also there is no tool for removing the original backplate.

Unfortunately, this is not at all like what I received

I have emailed support and am awaiting a reply.

Your link shows Rev A backplate! This is backplate of Rev B which you received: Mugen 2 Rev. B: Scythe - The Cooling Experts

Support is on holiday. Don't know when they'll return exactly. Probably next week someone will be available.
