Hey all!
So I think I managed to install this beast of a heatsink properly with my LGA 1366 motherboard... my only question is concerning the Screw cups that the backplate screws thread into. I screwed the backplate screws all the way into the screw cups, but now the screw cups are spinning and not allowing me to tighten them any further. I'm not sure if this is a flawed design or if it was purposefully done to prevent too much tightening and damaging your CPU/motherboard?? It just doesn't seem like there's enough pressure on the cpu this way but maybe that's just my imagination? |

Can anyone help please? I really think that something went wrong during the installation because the heatsink is really really loose. I didn't notice how much it moves until I had installed the motherboard but the heatsink will rock back and forth on the cpu about 1/8th and inch.
My motherboard is an Asus Sabertooth X58 Thanks! |
