Scythe Rev B + q6600 (OC) high temp

Some time ago i've bought q6600 (G0) aswell with cooler Scythe Mugen Rev B.

The problem is that the temeperature is so high, even no matter is it oc or not.
In idle cpu has 57 55 on core 1,2 and 46 on 3,4, in stress cpu may reach even 90 degree (then motherboard is shuttong down the PC in coz of danger temp)
My only solution that i did to put next to pc the big fan (http://www.germes-online.com/direct/.../Table_Fan.jpg) then temperautre in stress is like 69-71

I put screens of my pc... what's may be wrong? I dont think so that it may be therm paste fault becasue i was using arctic silver 5 during install scythe and q6600

PS. I have bought a fan that i install at a back of my computer case...
PSS. The graphic card has got stable low temp 30 in idle and around 60 in stress

Maybe you got a heat buildup in your case. I can't really see if and where you got fans in your case. Have you tried to mount the Mugen "sideways" so it is parallel to the RAM? Or is a heatsink of the board in the way?
The Q6600 has a stock clock of 2,4, doesn't it? Is it even overheating at 2.4 GHz?

In addition to Reiniell's post:

1. I'd also advice to rotate the Mugen 2.
2. Install a rear fan supporting the Mugen 2.
3. Think about cable management and about an intake fan on the front.
4. Also Arctic 5 can have bad influence - it is not only about the brand it is about the right amount of thermal grease!
5. Check the imprint of the cooler base plate into a freshly applied thin layer of thermal grease - this will show you if your CPU heatspreader is probably rather uneven. This is common for CPUs of this type.
