Cool Mugen 2 + Gigabyte UD3R + i7 920 Experience + Photos

Hello everyone
I just received my Mugen 2 rev B and I love it (with arctic silver 5)
the installation process was just fine so I thought I might share my experience with you here

*And also I'm ready for any better suggestion to air flow

First
My specs are
Gigabyte UD3R motherboard
i7 920 D0 @stock
Gigabyte Setto 1000 Chassis

and Mugen 2 fitted better than I was imagine

I followed the installation process as this video exactly
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QSGr-7NqUbI
and also the drawings in the installation guide that came with the Mugen were pretty useful

Ambient temperature is: ~24 C

Sorry that I didnt get screen shots of the temps before the Mugen but it was ~53 idle

Here's some photos of the Mugen 2 rev B installed:
(Sorry for low quality they were taken by iPhone 3G )

I can close the chassis well no problem at all and no fans were removed from the chassis

Now screens from Speedfan after installation @stock and ambient temp is 24
(Notice that Arctic Silver is applied just today and I heard that it may take 8 days or something to work as expected
is thats right ? )

Idle:

Load (with prime95):

Now I have 2 question:
1st
What do you think about my temps are they okay or high ?

2nd
This is an image for my airflow, did I installed the mugen correctly or should I change something to improve the airflow ?

Also which will be better, my chassis is opened or closed ?

Should I think of overclocking or not ?

And adding a second fan will be useful or what ?
waiting for your replies

1) Temps look ok.

2) I'd close the case.

3) Airflow is ideal in my opinion.

4) Thermal grease often needs some days before it performs best - it can help to heat up and cool down the system a number of times to speed up this process. You could use LinX for that which also is a great tool for testing full load temps. I prefer CoreTemp or RealTemp rather tahn Speedfan.

5) There is room for overclocking - depending on your actual ambient temp and the way this temp will change throughout the seasons of the year. Check T.Max for your CPU to see how much more degrees would be acceptable. Your CPU isn't a low wattage processor.

6) Second fan (push & pull) always improves temps. But: don't expect any kind of wonder from this. We are talking about 2-5 °C. And: your backside fan is rather close to the cooler so the effect of push & pull will be less than in other setups.

7) Perhaps you can improve cable management in your case to ensure an undisturbed airflow from front to back.

8) With todays processors it is very often possible to overclock AND undervolt. So you can reach higher clock rates w/o excessive heat improvement. My rather old E6700 is running @ 3.33 Ghz (stock: 2.66) and still gets less vCore than it was intended to get @stock clock rates.

Thanks for your reply Oli.

I closed the case and I guess I will leave the airflow as it is.

Linx works great it makes the temp up and down so I guess it will make that thermal paste work better in less time.

Concerning Overclocking I have easy tune which makes overclocking lot easier for me and I dont want to reach imaginary clock but I guess 3.2 or 3.6 GHz will be more than great for me.

My Gigabyte Setto 1000 has no room for anything really :S
it's so small, Actually I was worry before buying the Mugen 2 that it wont fit
but it fitted great and I really love it
so I cant arrange cables the way I want but I will try to group them or something
