Hi.
Just wondering about the temps i should get using the Mugen 2 . Processor is at 3.6ghz , 1.42v - 1.44v. Idle 40-42c and full load (Prime 95 for more than 10 min) 52-53c. Room temp is 22-23c. To me these seem acceptable cause 140W phenom should run a bit hotter than the rest. Amy feedback that includes temps would be appreciated. Thx. Last edited by Splash4004; 05-14-2010 at 08:00 PM. |

I'd love to see some temp results as well! I've got the very same CPU (965 C2 140W TDP) but it's @ 3.7GHz, default CPU Voltage. My readings: Idle 32-40C - full load (Prime 95 blend) 50-52C (will update this info when I get home, P95 blend has been running for 6hrs) Cheers, PS: TIM: AC MX3 Last edited by FL00D; 06-30-2010 at 02:44 PM. |

Long time since i checked my thread.
Update: My processor is actually a 965 rev 3 so it,s 125W. It's now running @ 3.8ghz 1.35v (much lower than in my 1'st thread) With ambient tems of 23-24 it idle's @ 41-42 and loads (100% prime 95) @ 53-54. I'm suspecting that the stock thermal paste is't so good (to say it elegant). Also using just 1 fan on it (stock). Can any1 recomend 2 good fans for a push & pull setup? I'll also change the thermal paste when i replace the fans. Thx in advance, |

I was thinkin of that. Gonna order a pair of clips for the Hs and try that. Hmm ..i think i-ll also change the thermal paste. I'll be back with the results.
Edit: If anyone has experimented with different fans on the Mugen2 please make some recomandations. I'm looking for best CFM and low noise. I'm asking cause not all high cfm , low noise fans can do a good joob at cooling a radiator. Last edited by Splash4004; 08-31-2010 at 11:27 AM. |
