Default Mugen 2 + AMD X4 955

Are these temperatures under load and at full speed normal?
I would have expected lower temperatures...

Well it is impossible to have an idea if your temps are good or not if we do not know what is your ambient temp.
Also what TIM did you use?
What is your case?
Pics would be nice.
Are you overclocking? If so what vcore, nb voltage, etc.
I have the same CPU as shown on the next image and doing 4Ghz on W7 64 bit:

Regards

Hm, just installed the Mugen on X4 955/gigabyte GA-MA790FXT-UD5P.

I get max temp 60°C when running prime95 and cpu at 3550 (that is max for me at default settings).

Idle is somewhere around 40. Room temp is probably around 25 or something, but I don't have the right tools to measure that. Now the question, is it possible that Mugen is not screwed tight enough, too much paste?
? The thought of removing mobo again is painful, but I'd rather ask before doing that... I was afraid to screw is too tight and I guess I expected a bit lower temps. So far its about the same as stock. Though less noise for sure.

So hm, I guess I'll have to take the mobo out tomorrow and check it out eh?

Ok, I fastened the screws even more as far as it allowed me to. Didn't feel much resistance there, probably the cushion?

Anyway, the temp seems to be a bit lower now when under load.

After a few minutes of prime95 I got this:

A few minutes later it went up a bit 49-50°C for cpu, cores are 54-55°C. Its fluctuating a bit. Seems it won't rise any higher.

This seems appropriate
