Default Mugen 2 Thermal paste.

Hello. In a few hours - days, i'll be owner of a mugen 2 installing it on a AM3 965. As a thermal paste should i use the one in the box (what brand name is it) or an other such as (Arctic silver, MX-3, Ceramique etc). Thank you.

Too late but I recommend Artic Silver 5 although between the top 5 the differences are almost zero.
It is a matter of applying it correctly.

Just to warn you, Artic Silver 5 needs 200 hrs to cure properly. I am using it right now on my Mugen-2 and, somehow, I regret not putting on my MX-2 instead. Based on reviews though, MX-2 is better than AS5 and Ceramique in terms of cooling. If you really want to go top end, Shin Etsu X-23 has recieved some stellar reviews, but may be a bit hard to find.
