Default Heatpipe empty?

Hi,
I bought a mugen 2 two weeks ago, but I've noted that one of the 5 "tower" is colder than other 4 "towers".
Is it possible that the heatpipe of the cold "tower" is empty?
Can I remove the top of that heatpipe and fill it with a liquid?
Thank you.

ps: Excuse me for the bad english, I hope you understand tha questions.

It could be because of where the physical core of your processor is positioned in relation to that heatpipe.

It could also be because it's not getting good enough surface contact.

Heatpipes aren't generally filled with regular water and have to be filled to an exact amount. I would not recommend removing the heatpipe cap!

I'd try applying less/more thermal paste, checking surfaces for flatness (use a piece of glass or credit card) and see what else might be causing the problem.

Hi,

how you measure that one block is colder then another? The other thing is, if you try to open the heatpipes at your own you will damage the cooler.

I touch the block with a finger and it is colder than the other blocks.

I try to turn the case in horizontal but che first block is colder than others again. The thermal paste is perfect and I'm sure it isn't the problem.

There are only two possibility:
1) The heatpipe isn't excellent.
2) The cpu flatness isn't excellent (but i think it is normal).

that the outer blocks are a little bit colder then the others is normal and simple physic. So there is no thing your have to worry about.

I tried to rotate the cpu cooler and the first block is colder than others again. The problem is in the heatpipe. Is it unfortunate? yes, I think.....

It would be against physics if all parts of the cooler had the same temperatur. So you can believe me that there is no problem with this Pipe. You measure it with your hand, but for things like that a hand is the worst measurement tool. And in the End, if your temperatures are ok, all works fine.

In full the temperature of my q6600 3ghz 1,164V is 48° (66°,66°,62°,62° for cores with a TJmax of 100°).
In idle with a Vcore of 1,264 is 37° (52°,48°,46°,50° for cores)
