Hi.
I'm considering either the Mine Rev.B or Andy Samurai Master cooler for my Asus P5AD2-E Premium motherboard to replace the Intel stock cooler. The intent is not only reducing my CPU temperature but making my computer run more quietly. After reviewing the compatibility lists for both these coolers, I did not see any specific reference to the P5AD2E-Premium. Can it be confirmed that either will fit? Second, I will be installing the cooler in a tower case. Is the cooling more efficient for when the cooler fan is blowing parallel to the motherboard and towards the rear or top mounted exhaust fan (Mine Rev.B) as opposed to the fan blowing towards the motherboard (Andy Samurai Master)? As my case has sound insulation on the side panels, heat buildup is the case itself can be an issue. Finally, as this will be my very first CPU cooler installation, is one easier to install than the other? Thanks for the info! |

Hi,
Asus P5AD2-E Premium should be compatible to Mine and Andy Samurai Master CPU Cooler. So both should run fine and you can decide which you would like to use. For airflow it depends on your setup but if you want to cooler Motherbaord compoentns around the socket and maybe also memory, you should pick Andy Samurai Master. Mine is rather to use constant airflow inside the case from front to back or other way around. When it comes to installation, it should be easier to mount Mine, but both use same clips. Mine would be easier becasue you can get a hold of the clips becasue if it's design.
