Scythe Mine rev b (or Katana 2) compatibility with Gigabyte m56s-s3 (am2)

please if somebody know this. i looked at pictures of some boards that are and some that are not compatibile and my board but i just cannot be sure. but it looks like drawing which CANT mount scythe.

please asap

here is mb picture, but my mb looks different! did gigabyte has 2 socket versions?

also i only found that Mine has problems. Will I be sure with Katana2?

It looks like scythe mine 1100 (rev b)
has clips in boomerng shape so it will fit!
scythe mine 1000 depends on socket design.

I will buy cooler tomarow. I was looking at 1000 pictures. my mistake

Hi!

The ASUS M2N-SLI Deluxe has a common AM2 design. Mine should be on the safe side, Mugen should fit as well. Only Ninja and Andy Samurai Master might have some problem.

I have gigabyte not asus, only cpu socket on my board looks just like that asus.

Hi,

Sorry, I guess I misunderstood you. The Gigabyte m56s-s3 should be fine too. Mine is better with compatibility comapred to other Scythe coolers. So that should be on a safest side.

I installed cooler scythe mine rev b. it fits perfectly and can not be heard inside my case with corsair vx450 ps if it is set to 1060rpm. it is extremly silent.
