Please check the product page of Mugen 3.

It has a brand new backplate which should be highly compatible.

F.M.S.B.4 (Flip Mount Super Back-Plate 4)
Introducing F.M.B.S.4 (Flip Mount Super Back-Plate 4) for higher compatibility with new generation Motherboards! This universally compatible Back-Plate is capable of mounting large coolers very rigidly on to your Motherboard.

Default intel DH55tc

Heya,

Do any of you know if the Mugen 2 Rev.B SCMG-2100 is compatible with the Intel DH55TC mainboard?

I couldn't find in the forum if this question was asked before. only for the scythe big shuriken, which IS compatible with DH55tc. but could that mean that this Mugen 2 rev.B is compatible too?

i'm not really worried about the DIMM slots becouse i have GeIL 8 GB DDR3-1333 (the mugen will probably land over the DIMM slots but not block them entirely, i think?) , but wil it stay clear of my graphics card?
it seems the PCI 16x slot is too close to the CPU area

Thanq very much

Anyone using Mugen 2 with Asrock X58 Extreme3 ? I'm using Mugen 2 with Gigabyte EX58-UD4 and plans to upgrade to Asrock. There is a tall heatsink on the PWM area so I wonder it will block Mugen?

Hello psychosomatic,

your question is not easy to answer. For the first, it seems that the Mugen 2 Rev.B fits on the Mainboard. The area around the CPU looks good.
But the 1 both ram slots you can't use with this ram (RipjawsX) - is to high because of the heatsink (the fan needs the space). You can use the 1 both ram slots only with smaller rams. I cant't say if you have enough space is available for the additional cooler.

Hello psychosomatic,

it looks like, that this mother is little bit more compatible as the sabertooth. The area around the cpu-cooler give you enough space for the Mugen 2 Rev.B. But you have the same limitation for the first 2 ram slots too like the sabertooth.

Hello

I have been running the Mugen 2 Rev B on my Abit IP35-e for a long time now, no problems, so it can be added to the compatibility list even though its an older motherboard.

I have ordered the ASRock H55M-LE, I will report back how it goes although I expect no issues.
