As you can see on these pics the fan will hang above the DIMM slot closest to the CPU socket and probably over half of the second one.

So I think you'll have to

a) mount the fan on another side of Mugen 2
b) if your case is wide enough, mount the fan in a higher position on Mugen 2 to get enough clearance for the Dominator's heatspreaders.

thanks for the answer

Hello Ombro & azimuth,

ASRock 890GM Pro3 should be work, but if possible use some ram modules without height heatspreaders (Dominator). Asus P7P55D-E LX and P7H55-V same. It is every time the same question guys. You can switch fan and than it is ok or you buy normal ram without only for style needed heatspreaders , or everyone using DDR3-2200+ with hardcore timings and overlock

Using Google with this expression
M4A88TD-V EVO/USB3 "Mugen 2"

I found the necessary results: AMD Processors Forums - Heat woes on 880- chipset almost frying

For the record, I am using an Asus M4A88TD-V EVO/USB3 (based on 880G) with a P2 955 BE cooled by a Mugen 2
So it fits.

I tried this with the P5Q Deluxe, and

The backplate not only overlaps the backside (or better: underside)
of the mosfest cooler, it is almost impossible to tighten the screws
and even finding the thread when the backplate is partly overlaying
the mosfet coolers underside.
