Would this nice little cooler fit on a Gigabyte GA-870A-UD3 Motherboard?

Combined with GeIL 4GB DDR3-1333 (GV34GB1333C7DC)
Wich isn't very high, so probably no problem there right?

Default Don't fit on Crosshair IV

Why all text get piled up even if I do a page makeup? This text looks messed...smiles dont work either...pffff.......Hello, I've got a Asus Crosshair IV and tried to install this cooler but the screwholes for the backplate are much to big on Crosshair IV. The result is that the backplate and cooler can move after installing which is bad. The original backplate of the Crosshair IV has been made so it fills up the big screwholes of the Crosshair IV(screws are not bigger, but backplate got kind of extra extension that fills the screwholes). I tried connect the heatsink to the original backplate that comes with Crosshair IV but the screw holes in the backplate are smaller. Don't know if this all makes sense. I find this odd why the screwholes are so big on my motherboard. Only the orginal push and click system with the backplate that came with the MB seem to work. I dont know what cooler to get now, because looks like nothing will fit.

According to other users the Mugen 2 fits on this board. As the heatsinks of the HyperX modules are rather short you also shouldn't get any problems with the fan, although it will hang above at least the module closest the the cpu socket - but this is perfectly ok.

I want to buy a Scythe Mugen 2 Rev.B for my PC.

I have a Gigabyte P35 DS4 rev 1.0 motherboard and Corsair Q2X8G6400C4DHX memory (4x2 GB).

The main problem is will the Mugen 2 rev.B CPU cooler fit without blocking the first and second DIMM slot?
