Just installed it succesfully on a Gigabyte P35-DS3L rev 2. The clips could contact your RAM. but I slided it to the right.

Should it also work on a Gigabyte P45-UD3P ?

Hi,

New here....

Wanted to know if there is any compatibility issues between Mugen 2 and the Gigabyte GA-M55S-S3 v2 Motherboard.

I'm thinking of buying the Mugen 2 but I want to be sure I won't be throwing money away on something that isn't compatible with my motherboard.

Thank you.

Ninja 1 and Mugen 2 aren't that different in size: http://www.silenthardware.de/wp-cont.../testsys01.jpg

It should fit if you use standard ram modules.

What about my question? anyone going to answer?

I asked if anybody can tell me if the Mugen 2 will fit onto the Gigabyte GA-M55S-S3 v2 Motherboard.

An answer, even if it's just saying you don't know will be much appreciated.

Looks rather safe, basically. But the fan will cover at least the two RAM slots closest to the socket when the fan is mounted parallel to the ATX I/O shield. So you can only use standard RAM modules.

What if I mount the fan in a way that it is facing toward to PCI-e slot?

I was thinking of trying to put the fan in a way that it may help cool down my graphic card as well.

Will that work on my motherboard?
