Hello everyone.
I have read awesome reviews about Mugen 2, i would like to buy one for my PC.
Only thing, I am afraid of is that, if it will fit on my motherboard. I read whole Thread and i couldn't find anyone that has installed a Mugen 2 on an Asus M3A79-T Deluxe yet, even though it can fit on an Asus M4A79 Deluxe. both motherbords have almost same Design.
Here is a screenshoot of my motherboard.

will it fit on my motherboard or i will have any issue?

any help would be really appreciated.

Regards..

Default Asus M4A78 PRO

Mugen 2 fits perfectly my Asus M4A78 PRO and the case Coolermaster Sileo 500.

When it is mounted vertically (see picture above), you can install RAM in any bank without removing the heatsink: you just have to remove the fan, but it's very easy and it takes just a few seconds.

Red face Installed Mugen 2 on P6t Deluxe V2 LGA 1366

Hi there guys,

I installed the Mugen 2 on a Asus P6t Deluxe V2 LGA 1366 socket with high profile memory in all 6 slots; the metal clamps that hold the fan are resting on the top of the 6th memory cooler.

You need a big case! Check out the dimensions; you need like 16cm up from the cpu. My biggest problem was getting the mobo+cooler back into the case!

Temps are fantastic; 35c idle - 50c full load; living in California.

Just wanted to let you know that it is possible.

Greetings

Thanks for ur Answer - my Case is not the Problem!

But i don´t know if its the same with mATX msi board: MSI 785GM-E65, 785G (dual PC3-10667U DDR3) Preisvergleich bei Geizhals.at Deutschland and ur board!

Also my Rams have a middle sized heatspreader not really high - und not normal (see the link).

On the Pictures of the boards it look like that ur asus board has mode spce between the cpu and the 1. ram slot??

what do u think?

greets tobi

Default To Tobiman

Yes, i checked 2 pictures of the mobo's and it does look like you have less space between cpu and ram. Are there any other posts here about your mobo?

Because my solution is realy pushing it; if you have less space it wil not work I think

Greetings

Hi all, does anyone know if the Mugen 2 is compatible with the Gigabyte GA-MA790GPT-UD3H? I plan on buying this board, but I don't know if the Mugen 2 will fit on it.
