Mugen 2 fits well on MSI X58-E Pro. The first memory slot is blocked by the heatsink when mounted in direction where fins are alongside with the memory slots in case you have Dominator-like mems. Cannot say if regular size mems will fit. However, the starting slot where the memory should be installed is the second one on the mobo so there is no problem with installing 3x2GB Dominaotors at the moment.

I had only two small issues. First, the *thing* is just massive and I had to fix small mobo bending by attaching the heatsing to the top of the case.

Second, after replacing the mobo backplate, I tightened the cpu retention mechanism too much. Am I right the CPU retention mechanism should be somewhat loose before securing the CPU in place?

Hi all.
Does the Mugen 2 fit on a Gigabyte GA-P35C-DS3 (rev. 2.0) ?
GIGABYTE - Product - Motherboard - Overview - GA-P35C-DS3 (rev. 2.0)
I'm afraid about the Northbridge-Cooler, which is big on that MB and about first slot of RAM, which is used on my motherboard. Here is pictures of my motherboard:

Hello, guys!
I have an Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD5 motherboard, with an Intel iCore7 920 CPU. Is the Mugen 2 cooler compatible with that board?
Thanks!

Default Sockel 1156-Mainboards

Siehe: Is Mugen 2 Compatible with LGA1156?
Und: Mugen² Rev. A mit Sockel 1156 kompatibel?

Das Kit soll also zwischen Oktober und November (oder spätestens im November) erscheinen und man kann den Mugen 2 damit nachrüsten ohne eine Rev B kaufen zu müssen.

Hey!

I do also got the GA-P35C-DS3R (rev. 1.x) and are using Corsair TWIN2X 6400C4 DDR2, 2048MB CL4 memmory on the first slot

This is mounted in a Antec Sonata 500 II

Will it work with a Mugen 2?
