Has this cooler been tested with either the ASrock x58 Extreme or ASrock x58 Deluxe?

I will be purchasing one of these boards and would like to purchase this cooler as well if it fits.

Thanks
Madboy

Mugen 2 fit on Asus P5N-D and also on Asrock X58 boards.

Especially on the x58 Board should look for memory with normal heatspreaders. Because the cooler or fan maybe block the first Memory slots.

hello

my question is: does the Mugen 2 fit on a GA-M56S-S3 board using all of the RAM slots without any special heat sink?

but since the capacitors are quite tall i am not sure about this issue too...

my 2nd question is about the height of the whole cooler. im not sure if it would fit into my case. im using a "Sharkkon Rebel9 Economy" SHARKOON Technologies GmbH

so 158 mm is the height form the bottom to the top including the heatpipe endings?

greets

Hi,

Mugen 2 should fit on this board, it tight but i should work fine. Normal memory is no problem here. Also your case is fine and have enough space for Mugen 2.

158 mm is from bottom to top.

Hi,

it looks like there is enough space for Mugen 2. but you have to take care about your memory. Because the cooler or fan maybe block the first memory slots.

Thumbs up

Many thanks "SUMO"

after a lot of searching i did find, seems that someone read my mind that bloke installed the Scythe Mugen-2 CPU cooler on a XFX X58i in CM HAF 932 (i've too ordered the same)

the cooler fan is way clear of the RAM slots i.e. for many types, but as you've said
it could block the first memory slots for Dominator, Reaper HPC, Flex etc.

cheers mate...
