I will verify the Mugen II is compatible with the new MicroStar International (MSI) X58M.

However, as with my Gigabyte GA-EX58-EXTREME, there are no rubber spacers on the top side, and this needs improvement.

I recently asked if the mugen would fit on my AsRock P43Twins1600,
It would fit, but i forgot to ask if it would fit in my Antec 900 case, with 3 sticks of RAM on the mobo.
Does it?

Thanks in advance

Hi,

in you case is enough space for the Mugen 2. About you memory, this depends on how high your memory is. If you have high memory like Dominators, maybe one Slot will be blocked.

hi nikor,

its compatible. the only thing that can happen is, depending on you installation, that one or two memory slots are blocked for high memory cooler like OCZ Reaper.

Cheers Chris

I just got the Mugen 2 and I will be attempting to install it on an MSI x58 Platinum SLI motherboard.

Has anyone had this combination before? One reviewer on newegg mentioned being able to accommodate a "massive 120mm scythe heat sink" on their motherboard.

Comparing your case to mine, 26.16 vs 18.2 I can assure you that it will fit in your case.

About your motherboard:
I don't know why it wouldn't be able to fit on that motherboard. You don't have any big/high heatsinks from the chipset so I think it won't be a problem. It looks like any other regular Gigabyte motherboard, it also looks like mine which fits perfectly.

Case: will fit, Motherboard: will most likely also fit.
Thank you!

No needed to translate for my language, anyway, thank you.

I still do not have these components, but I am thinking, because I would like to use the Mugen 2 in the near future.

Wich orientation the Mugen 2 can be used in an AM3 motherboard?

That depends on how the socket is placed on the motherboard you will choose.

The best socket orientation for AM3 is like this:

Servus

Mfg Alex

hey there,

i would like to know if the mugen 2 can be used on an ASUS Crosshair III Formula with higher built RAM Modules like OCZ Reaper, i want to use all 4 slots.
do i have to go with "normal" sized RAM modules?

link to mainboard specs:
ASUSTeK Computer Inc.

Case would be CoolerMaster HAF932 so i'm not worried about space problems in that direction

cheers,
nologic
