Default Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD4

Hi, i just want to let you know that Scythe Mugen 2 fits on Gigabyte GA-EX58-ED4. I mounted it in the position in which the longer side (if watching from the top of the cooler) is in vertical position (see pictures) but it will also fit in the other direction. No collision with mosfet or northbridge heatsnks but the first two RAM slots (counting from the CPU) are covered by fan, but not the heatsink of Mugen 2(if the orientation is like on pics and the fan is mounted to blow air to the back of the case, if not the cooler's heatsink will block the ram slots, not to mention fan). But the memories could be seated in the covered sockets, but it ill require demountig of the fan (or the whole cooler, if other orientation). Then there is some little space between fan and the memories (see pisc).
p.s also i think that it will fit on GA-EX58-UD4P because the pcb is nearly the same mostly near the cpu socket.

Sorry about poor quality of photos, but i have not a a camera right now (broken) so i took it only by a phone.

A friend of mine just told me the Mugen 2 fits on his Asus P5Q He had to mount it so it blows upwards but that's only because of his case, which has the psu mounted at the top.

Egal in welcher richtung. Alles andere geht.
