Ansonsten: hast Du noch nen Tip mit welchem �hnlich leistungsf�higen K�hler von Euch ich keine Probleme bei der Konfiguration habe? Dann nehm ich vlt. einfach die Alternative.

Eine wirkliche Alternative gibt es bei deinem Board nicht - alle Towerk�hler werden mit den saunah liegenden RAM-Slots Problemchen haben...

Unlike previously posted here, the MSI DKA790GX Platinum is NOT compatible with the Mugen2. As seen on http://global.msi.com.tw/index.php?f...1&prod_no=1552 there is a heatsink on the motherboard next the to CPU socket. The fins around this heatsink are in the way of the lower left heatpipe of the Mugen2.

There is a way to make it fit: the fins are connected with a small copper connector linking each fin the previous one. This connector can be loosened at one end. Either bending this connector away or cutting it off completely will allow the fin to move a bit. It is possible to install the Mugen2 this way, the heatpipe will push two fins aside a bit but it is not a problem. The installation is a little tricky because you will probably have the motherboard upside down so you can't see what's going on with the fins.

The backplate can be mounted, but it will sit against the pushpin of the same cooler. This does not pose a problem but it is something you should be aware of.

Note that cutting or bending the part on the motherboard WILL void the warranty, so do it on your own risk.

w�rde der Mugen 2 auf ein Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3 (v1) passen ?
Das ist die erste Revision was bedeutet, dass der Northbridge K�hler ziemlich hoch ist.

horizontal sollte das passen. Solltest du das Board schon haben kannst du auch mal hier schauen: http://www.scythe-eu.com/forum/mugen...atibility.html

Wenn er NB K�hler nicht h�her als 4cm ist, solltest du keine Probleme bekommen. M�glicherweise k�nnte der erste Ramsteckplatz f�r hohen Speicher blockiert werden.

Beide Ausrichtungen sollten passen, doch wir es bei Horizontaler Ausrichtung etwas knapp mit dem Platz f�r hohe Ramriegel.

Mal vorweg, der Scythe Mugen 2 pa�t auf das Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3 (v1), in beiden m�glichen Montagerichtungen. Der Abstand zu den RAM B�nken ist aber in der von mir bevorzugten K�hler-Ausrichtung sehr gering, d.h. um die erste RAM Bank zu erreichen, mu� der L�fter abgenommen werden.

Falls Interesse besteht werde ich detailiertere Angaben machen was den Abstand zu den RAMs betrifft bzw. ein paar Pics uploaden.
