Hi,

ich habe den Samurai Master auf meinem
ABIT AN-M2HD
ohne Probleme laufen.
Passt super in mein ANTEC Fusion Gehäuse bei dem dann die seitlichen Gehäuselüfter die nötige Luft durch den Kühlkörper ziehen.

Just installed on a GIGABYTE GA-81848PM - tight but it fits (heatpipes very close to contact) - this is in a Fujitsu-Siemens Scaleo T and has about 1mm to spare between the cooler and the power supply casing.....

Default Compatible with Asus P5Q-E

Hi,

It's compatible with Asus P5Q-E but not in the optimal position. See this post: Andy Samurai Master and Stabilizer on Asus P5Q-E

Default ASUS M4N72-E compatibility

Hi All,

I was looking at purchasing the ASUS M4N72-E, and using the new AMD Athlon II X2 250 with the Corsair Dominator DDR2 PC2-8500 TWIN2X4096-8500C5DF - 4GB (2x 2GB) RAM.

Does anyone know if the ASM will be compatible with this setup? If not then does anyone have any suggestions on a Scythe cooler which would work.

I have put some images below so you can see the mobo and RAM.

Thanks for any help.

Hi stuuser,

Thanks a lot for your message. I'd like to advise you to not put any hotlinks, as it is against our forum rules. I took time to revise the links for you.

Regarding your question for the ASM and the ASUS M4N72-E it does look like there will be no issues at all. First of all the memory is far enough to not have the contact there and also heatsinks are not really tall, so that shouldn't cause any problem. Seems like a go to me.

Ah, I am very sorry for the hotlinks :-(Thanks very much for the info, I am very grateful.I have just one more question which is not related to the ASM, do you know if other Scythe coolers would also be fine with the board? I was really interested in the Kama Angle but I think this would be an issue :-(Thanks again for your quick reply.
