OK, this is a hard one to rate. The RAM is the biggest issue here. I would guess based on my experience so far, that the Andy will face with the Heatpipes facing up/sky and that way the RAM would be clear. Worst case you have to use second RAM slots...

I had the Dominator RAM in the office today and get some samples this week. Based on an AM2 Mobo, it was very close, but Andy Samurai Master was clear with the RAM even the heatsink was directly above.

The Mobo should be fine, around 90% compatibility.

I hope this could help you.

Cheers!

Default Hi there!

Thanks for your answere.

I ordered the HW last sunday, but without the memory i postet here.

I thought about this combination - during sleep - (in reference to the height) and changed the RAM into OCZ memory (Platinum XTC PC1000) with a lower height.

I hope the memory will stay cool enough with the smaler heatspreader.

I think i get the HW the next days.
I will post my results here.

Greetings

MeisterLampe

With great pleasure i can report, that Andy Samurai Master has 100% compatibility with ASUS P5K-E/Wi-Fi App. So it can be added to the List, in any position.
During installation in my Chieftec DH-03-B-SL DH03 I had to uninstall PSU – I couldn’t reach upper “Push Pins”.
Sorry, I don’t post any photos, my Sony Ericsson Z710i is not the best device for digital photo and I have no other…

P. S. default thermal grease is awful, it loses cheap russian “КПТ-8” 3-4 degrease

Hi,

I have installed the new Stuff in my Thernaltake Tsunami Dream case and do a long load-test.
Result: CPU and RAM stay very cool --> It's 'rockstable'

The Andy SM Cooler can be installed in any position on the GA-P35-DS3R rev2.1 mb. It cool down the chipset passivcooler also. The first 'RAM slot' will be cooled by the fan, when you installed the cooler with the heatpipes to the left side (USB-Ports), the other three slots not.
The cooler stay very silent all the time.
In the meantime i bought two more and today i will order a 4th one.

I am very happy with this Cooler

Greetings
MeisterLampe

Default Compatible with Asus P5E-V HDMI

Hello,

I'm glad to report the P5E-V HDMI as ASM compatible (horizontal position, good RAM slots clearance)

Hello everybody!

brandon:
Thanks for confirming! I've added the Mobo to the list .)

ember447:
Asus p4p-800e deluxe seems to be fine at least in one direction. Only the capacitors could be an issue there. Compatibility rate around 80%.

MeisterLampe: Thanks for the feedback. The mobo was added as well!

shadow: Thanks a lot!
The list keeps getting bigger thanks to you guys =)

Cheers,
Shinigami

just fyi:
generally the andy is compatible with the asus m2a-vm. but one locking mechanism of the clamps collides with the chipset heatsink.
so the hs has to be removed durring the installation of the andy and reinstalled afterwards.

don't know if this problem exits with newer or older revisions of this board.

Default Gigabyte GA-MA78GM-S2H

In a few days, I will upgrade my PC with the Gigabyte GA-MA78GM-S2H. Because I already have the Samurai Master in my old configuration, I want to use it with the new MoBo, too.

Is there anybody with some experiences with this combination?

Otherwise, I will post some pictures and comments from my experiences in a few days.

Jonathan
