Hi,

Nice info, but I am not really sure about that. You might need to use memory slot 3 and 4 in worst case. I can not really guarranty that it will work the other way.

OK, finally I bought ASM. Now I installed it in position with heatpipes rotated in RAM direction, side heatpipes contact with RAM module in 1st slot but not very hard (now it works in this position). In few days I'll move RAM modules to 3,4 slots, but I think that it can work fine even without this action. This means that when I'll decide to add extra RAM I can put modules in all 4 slots.
Also I tried to rotate it on 180° and in this case one heatpipe touches one capacitor, the contact is very lite, but I think this can make bad influence on capacitor's health.
So, I think you can write that this cooler is compatible with this mb, but with restrictions mentioned above.

Here you can see some images:

Grossmeister: It looks still safe, but I would rather avoid the contact to the RAM. Unfortunately this is something that depends on the Mobo Layout and RAM too much. I hope everything is fine, but still better to move to the other slots.

And what about ASUSTeK P5K-E/WiFi-AP?
There are no global differences between ASUSTeK P5K-E/WiFi-AP & ASUS P5K Deluxe, for example.
So why does
ASUSTeK P5K-E/WiFi-AP miss Andy Samurai Master Compatibility List?
Will I be able to install Andy to my motherboard?

Hi,

The answer might be a lot easier than you will probably expect it =P
ASUS has so many same layouts but only small feature changes, that you simply can not follow them. Furthermore there are many revisions and we can not personally test them all. If a user reports the particular compatibility, we add it to the list.

I can not see any problems with the ASUSTeK P5K-E/WiFi-AP Motherboard. It should be compatible.

Cheers,
Shinigami

Hi

What can you say about compability with MSI P35 Neo2-FIR?

If the Andy Samurai isn't compatible, is there any other scythe product that could work with my boad?

Hi there kryo,

The Andy Samurai Master should be able to be mounted in 2 directions. The heapipes should face to PSU or RAM. If facing RAM, the first RAM (DIMM 0) might get blocked.

Hi beo21,

The ASUS P5N-E SLi should be OK with the Andy Samurai Master. I can't see any issues with it.

Greetings and happy XMAS,
Andy
