Hi,

ConsoleKing: The ASUS M2N32 WS Professional should be compatible to Ninja PLUS. I can not see any issues, as the capacitors are small and there seem to be enough space. Should be like 93% compatibility chance.

I'm looking to see if the Ninja would fit on a P5W DH, I know its mentioned in the list, but I was wondering if the list includes fitting a fan to the ninja as well (or is it just on its own). I'm only asking as I've done a few measurements and looks that with a fan, it may not fit next to the ram modules or might be very tight if it does.

Anyone know?

Thanks

Referring to the Ninja's height and the fan clips the fan should be sitting right on top of the RAM modules just clearing them by a few millimeters.

Bye Oliver

The fan was calculated into the compatibility. We test it with the fan, always.

As you have already guessed, the fan will be over the memory, so if you have higher memory with special cooling, you need to put the fan somewhere on the other side, or slide it higher on the Ninja PLUS or move the RAM to second slot.

I hope this can help you considering the system Setup.

Hi Spacemonkey_901,

MSI PT8 Neo-V seems to be compatible with the Ninja PLUS and Ninja Mini. I can't find any disturbing areas around the socket, so the compatibility should be OK.

Greetings

Hi,
does it fit the ASUS P5N32-E SLI Plus?
Because the normal P5N32-E SLI is on compability list, but i wnated to ask if there is any difference between the both in terms of compability.
best regards

Hello
I purchased a Scythe Ninja Plus rev. B cooler with a fan.
All i can say its WOW its BIG no. its HUGE )
But fits on the Gigabyte K8NS-939
Thanx shanigami.
But one question it's there
One of the heatpipes of the cooler touches one of my capacitors around the cpu socket. It even "moved" it a liiiiilte bit. And it is in direct contact with it. Can that be a problem ?
Well i have the box running for almost a week or even more since i installed the new cooler. No problem since . But still i would like to know to expect problems or not.
And yes i know this is a bit OffTopic.

Hey activity,

Thanks for the compatibility info. Socket 939 and AM2 seem to have sometimes the capacitors standing out facing the socket and Ninja is touching them in many cases. As long as the Heatpipes are not touching the contacts of the capacitors, there is no problem. The metal housing of the capacitors has no relation or connection to the circuit.
