I have Scythe Ninja Rev B and MSI K9AG Neo2-Digital board. It fits even one heat pipe comes very very close to capacitor on left side of board socket. But doesn't touch.

However I am changing board into: GA-MA78G-DS3H and I ask if Ninja Rev be is compatible with this board. I have 2x1 GB Kingston Value + 2x 512mb Kingston value so it would be nice to know if I can use all four banks in with Ninja.

Hi thejamppa,

Ninja Rev. B should fit onto that board, but I'm not sure if it could maybe touch the capacitors near the CPU-socket.

Cheers,
Stefan

Thank you Stefan for quick reply. I shall test both Ninja and Mini Ninja on that board. I am not worried about capacitors because all capcitors on board are solid aluminium capacitors which are around half height from the regular capacitors.

Right, that is exactly why I'm not sure, if it really fits...

AFAIK you can use all 4 RAM sockets but the Ninja's fan will hang directly above (at least) the two RAM sockets closest to the CPU socket. So don't use RAM modules with large heatsinks.

Bye Oli

Thanks Stefan for your input.

Thank you too Oli, I am using Kingston value which is as generic as memory can be without headspredders.

Thumbs up Fits on MSI K9A2GM-FIH

I would like to mention that the Scythe SCNJ-1100P Ninja Rev. B fits on the MSI K9A2GM-FIH mainboard.
I was a bit worried about the condensers and the memory slots (with memory inserted) but it fits. The heatpipe stays away from the condensers just one or two millimeters. Two pictures:

I've mounted the rig inside an Antec NSK4480B, that also fits (someone posted that combo somewhere on the WWW).
