Anyone who can tell me whether the Mugen which I just ordered (can still cancel :P) is compatible with the Asus P5KC?

Mugen fits on ASUS P5K Deluxe, so it should fit on P5KC.

Hi,

I wanted to know if the Mugen (******** SCINF-1000) fits on the Asus motherboard M2N 1394 (Asus M2N 1394, nForce 430 MCP (ATX, PCI-e, Sound, LAN, SATA II, RAID, 1394)

I think it fits since the other M2N motherboards are compatible as well.

Thanks in advance,

Hello Vato,

Mugen should fit onto the M2N 1394.

Cheers,
Stefan

There is only one thing I'd be concerned about:

those capacitors near the CPU socket. If my interpretation is correct Mugen can only be installed in one direction on this socket - with its wider side parallel to the RAM sockets. If this is the case the big heatsink of Mugen (connected to the coolers base plate) could collide with those capacitors.

If this isn't the case everything else should be fine and Mugen should fit.

Bye Oli

Yeah, the capacitors could be a problem, but it is working for the other M2N-boards, so it should be okay.
