I cant disable only starting voltage... I have to disable full option.
Q-fan is something different than pwm or cool&quiet, right? If this option is only about the cpu_fan, then its not important because I dont use this port(Also, there r no other fan ports in my mobo). Point is that I m looking for case fans, cool and noiseless

Q-Fan is more like a controll unit for PWM/Voltage Fan Regulation.

let us compare these booth:
Kama Flex: 1.000 upm Version: 38,9 CFM = 66 m³/h / 15,8 dBA / DC12V / 0,13 A MTBF: 120.000 Stunden Bearing: S-FDB > better bearing, longer lifetime Slip Stream: 800 upm Version: 40,17 CFM = 68 m³/h / 10,70 dBA / DC12 V / 0,10 A MTBF: 30.000 Stunden Bearing: Sleeve > more airflow, less dBA, less Power its up to you what you want. Both fans can run via 4-Pin adapter (included) cirect with your PSU. If the fans run in 5V mode have to check by yourself. But what i think its not necessary to run both fans in 5V mode.

Orochi Rev. B failed @ASUS M3N78-VM in NZXT Vulcan.
To high(max 149mm). Conflict with Sidepanel. I must run for a Waterjet Cutter. |

Hello (:
I posess: Intel E8400 ASUS P5Q-E Silverstone FT01 Scythe Orochi Rev. B All components work fine with top 18cm case fan blowing directly onto the Orochi, while supplied one is blowing out down. At something around 28 degrees C. in the room, light CPU load, the temp keeps around 38-39 deg. C. The question is: I have managed to place the cooler on the mobo, however the metal assemly clips that came with the box are "hanging" on the backplate screws not having anything between them and mobo PCB. This installation looks sort of bogus to me, and it seems that there's something vital missing. How I can fix this, please? http://i49.tinypic.com/sec004.jpg http://i46.tinypic.com/oa0oe8.jpg http://i50.tinypic.com/2nimefd.jpg Would appreciate any help. Thanks. Looks normal to me. See Mugen 2 review of Technic3D: http://www.technic3d.com/thumbnail.p...666&height=500 - this cooler uses the same system.
In newer versions of the mounting system (Mugen 2 Rev B) the open thread of the screw which you can see is covered by a cap but this is for optical reasons primarily. Example: http://media.bestofmicro.com/B/5/236..._installed.jpg But the fact that the clips "hang" above the PCB remains. The mounting mechanism and the length of the screw thread is designed in a way that the metal clips can never touch the mainboard PCB - even when screwed to the max.

Hi everybody!
I can confirm that Orochi is totally compatible with Gigabyte EG41MF-US2H. And that I had no problem at all mounting 2x Kingston HyperX DDR2. I wanted to know if Orochi is compatible with Asus P6T SE (which is exactly the same as P6T but without SLI support). Thank you in advance. |

Hi!
Would this cooler fit on an ASRock H55M Pro motherboard? As far as I know a Mugen 2 can nicely fit on it, but would the Orochi aswell? Also I am owning a Chieftec BH-01B-B-B-OP ATX case, would it fit in? Thanks in advance for the reply! |

Hello All Orochimaru's
I just migrated from an Asus P5QPro (LGA775) to an AsRock P67 Pro3 (LGA1155) trying to keep my good old Orochi Rev-A. Nice feature of AsRock P67 motherboards is C.C.O = Combo Cooler Option: Heigt holes enable you to install LGA775 OR LGA1155 / LGA1156 cooler type ! Problem is LGS1155 steel backplate prevent to attach Orochi backplate. Looking to Orochi Rev-B on LG1366 documentation give an idea of solution. So is it possible to install Orochi Rev-A on LG1155 socket with this kit : Scythe Universal Retention Kit3 ??? Would appreciate any help. Thanks. |
