Hi, just googled Scythe compatibility and this came up. I had looked at the thread where it says what is compatible(cant remember link) but I am just wondering if the Scythe Ninja CU-Full Copper(or any other Scythe product for that matter) is compatible with the Foxconn Winfast 6150M2MA

Hello Waqas,
as far as I could decide this from pictures, I think all Scythe Coolers should be compatible. Please note, that Ninja CU was only a limited edition and therefore hardly available on the market. Cheers, Stefan

Thanks, if it didn't work with my motherboard and I did not do anything to the actual cooler to damage it, would I be able to return the cooler back to Scythe and get a refund?
EDIT: What Scythe product do you recommend for me-a person with an AM2 board, doesn't overclock, wants an energy efficient cooler and a near silent(or silent if possible) cooler Last edited by Waqas; 10-15-2008 at 05:05 PM. |

First of all: Where are you from? In lots of european countries you can send a product back to your reseller within 14 days to get a refund - please ask your reseller for this.
I would recommend a Ninja 2 or a Mugen. Kind regards, Stefan

Hello Waqas,
both could work without fan - but of course you need enough airflow inside of your PC to be on the safe side. Kind regards, Stefan

hy,
i hope you mean the fan wattage. The Mugen Fan have 4,1W, the fan of Ninja 2 runs arround 3,5W.

Hi, just an afterthought, How much more(or less if the case may be) power does the Scythe Ninja II heatsink give out in comparison to the AM2 stock cooler? Or do heatsinks not require any power?

i hope i understand you right;
In comparision to the Stock Cooler the Ninja 2 can give you the opportunity to have lower temperatures for your CPU. This can be used for better overclocking results or something else.
