Good Afternoon, I have been looking for an after market cooler to fit the Striker II Formula Motherboard. Also what may be an issue here is the CoolerMaster 831 Stacker case I have and the 2x2GB Corsair Dominator RAM. Any information would be greafully recevied.
Currently because the heat issues within the case I cannot actually use the PC as it shut's down after about 30minutes .Regards Paul

Hello Paul,
as far as I could see from images, Mugen and Ninja 2 should fit without problems. Could you please measure it by yourself to be sure? Ninja 2 dimensions http://www.scythe-eu.com/forum/mugen...atibility.html Kind regards! Stefan - Scythe EU Hamburg

Hi, Thanks for the reply. With the coolerMaster 831 Stacker [it looks big but actually the internal dimensions are such that any cooler above ~ 130mm is going to be s struggle to get inside the case. I have been looking at the Zipang, because of this height restriction but I have a feeling there maybe other areas in which the cooler impinges on the Motherboard/Ram/Passive NB Cooling/PSU...It's all a real pain - I do not want to keep buying coolers on the off chance they will fit - also I'm not to keen on having to remove the motherboard from my case - hence the reason I have been looking at scythe coolers inparticular.
Regards Paul

Hello Paul,
did you have a look at the dimensions-threads? You could measure then by yourself, if Zipang etc. will fit. Kind regards, Stefan

I think I will have to dig my CAD drawing package out and construct a 3-D image of both the motherboard with RAM fitted + Cooler and the case. There could also be an issue with the Power supply also. I thought getting such a large case would not lead to problems - it seems worse - least with a small case you know nothing fits so there is no problem !!!
Regards Paul

Hello Paul,
actually, small cases are a huge problem for silent-users... Hope, you will find your answer when doing the CAD-stuff! Good Luck! Stef
