Hi!

I've been looking this forum because I plan to buy a "normal" asus p5q or either a p5q-pro mobo with a core 2 duo e8400 and I pretend to install a zipang cooler. I've not noticed the answer to the question... Please could you tell me if the zipang is supported for these mobos?

Mine rev. B not compattible with GA-MA790FX-DQ6.
Copper edges of passive cooling systems of northern bridge prevent to latch locks. It is necessary to remove nearby 3 - 4 millimetres of metal from a rotary plate for cooler fixing.

Sorry. But GA-MA790FX-DS5 has identical GA-MA790FX-DQ5 cooling system. And not in list.

Hello Crey,

actually we often have to look at pictures to see, if a cooler is compatible or not. If we are not sure, we just skip the boards in our compatibility list.

i have Biostar 790gx board ( BIOSTAR TFORCE TA790GX A2+ AM2+/AM2 AMD 790GX HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard ).

i want to know which hsf support this board?

Actually, every cooler should fit. The only problem could be the Mounting of AM2-clamp near the NB-cooler, but this should be okay.
